Now in parting

So tomorrow i head to Istanbul. I will spend a day there then i will head home to America on Friday. I had never traveled out of America before this trip and it has been a great experience. I am not sure that i am ready to go home. I feel like there is so much more for me here. But we will see what God does through this. I am very excited to see my family and friends. Yet sad to leave my family and friends here. I am truly torn. I have fallen in love with the people of this country and they will always be on my heart. I hope i was able to be a blessing to them while i was here. and i know i will be back. i want to say a quick thank you to all of you who read this and to all of you who have supported me through this time. I know i have been slacking in my posts this last month and i apologize. I have had plenty to post and didnt make enough time to actually post it all. I hope you enjoyed what i did post. i have had a great adventure and i am glad you all came along for the ride. It is a strange feeling to think that i have been out of my own country for 3 months. i am happy i had this experience. God has used this time to work in my life. And i am excited to see what is next. So lets do this and see what happens. Why settle for normal when you can have so much more? I pray that God will bless you all and that you may all have adventures with Him that will truly change your lives. and not in the “i have so much that i dont need, i am getting rid of my tv.” kind of way. but that you will actually be changed and sparked to do something great for the glory of God. I know i cant settle for normal. its just not enough. not after seeing a little of what God can do. Don’t settle, but keep moving forward to something greater. you can be used my God and you can change the world.

So last night i was expecting today to be a day of catch up and prep for going home. Then at 11pm i get a call from my leader who told me to come over to his house. When i get there i am informed that i will be taking a day trip to the Black sea. I was surprised but excited. it was a spur of the moment plan but it was a cool one. so we went up for the day and got to pray and get in the water a little bit. it was a great time.

So my friends from the states arrive tomorrow. i am pretty excited to see them. they became my family during the last few months and it will be nice to hang with them again. we have a lot of fun things planned for the next week so it will be a good time.

so here is a little bit of info. people here are born with soccer balls for blood cells. they are naturally amazing at soccer. i went to play with a bunch of people last night. im not gonna lie i was scared to go on the field. they were doing flip kicks and spinning kicks and things i dont know how to describe and they did it all perfectly it was like walking onto a field with a bunch of Karate experts who were going to take my head off. however… Yeşua and i along with my team of Americans marched out there and did our thing. the game rules were street ball style. 7 goals or 20 minutes whichever came first. we played five games total. 3 of them we went all 20 minutes and only gave up one goal. one of them we won. and the other we lost a couple players and didnt do so well with the new guys. it was a lot of fun. but today i am in a lot of pain. muscles i didnt know were there are in pain. its good though. i hope to do it again.
